Grendel Spider- Chenille Stem Miniature by the-gil-monster Grendel Spider- Chenille Stem Miniature by the-gil-monster
A chenille stem spider I built on commission for a long-time friend of mine. He's a fan of the Grendel comic series so I thought that'd make a great spider design. Measures 2" (5.08 cm) long with a legspan approximately 4" (10.16 cm).

I agree that the Grendel design theme looks cool on a spider (my first thought, when I saw the picture, was Todd McFarlane's Spawn).  What are the little orange bits on the legs, hot glue, aquarium gravel, or something else?

That is Scribbles fabric paint. I do all of my work with it. It's also the coating for the abdomen and the fangs and legs.
